We’ll use the instructions straight from Microsoft’s support resolution website to put back the file on your computer. You’re absolutely right that the SndVol32.exe file is for your sound and volume controls.? I’m surprised that it found a way to be deleted off your machine but it can be grabbed off of the Windows XP installation disk.? Pop in the disk and try these steps to load back the needed file. I cannot see the audio icon in my system tray.? It is no longer there and I cannot hear any sound from my computer anymore.? Whenever I try to troubleshoot the problem it says SndVol32.exe file is missing.? I’m guessing it means Sound/Volume file is missing.? I have Windows XP, please help!
